For over 50 years, Utah Youth Orchestras & Ensembles have provided premiere training for young orchestral musicians of the Intermountain West.

Our orchestras have nurtured thousands of talented musicians ages 12–21 with coaching and development by the area's finest professional conductors and musicians.

If you would like to audition for one of our orchestras, please email uysymphony@msn.com to request an audition. Include your name, mailing address, instrument, phone, and school grade for the 2013-2014 year, as well as the orchestra you are auditioning for: (1) UYSO/UYPhil or (2) UYJSO. UYSO/UYPhil will be accepting auditions for all orchestral instruments. UYJSO will be accepting auditions for all orchestral instruments except harp and percussion. All applicants should fill out 2 copies of the application form (see Applications section of this website.)
